The Team

Lauren discovered a passion for bridal beauty during a wedding shoot in London, which sparked a journey of collaboration and creativity. Since then, she has brought her expertise to wedding shows, advertising campaigns, and countless bridal parties.

As the company flourished, Emma joined Spence & Oliver in 2017, sharing a like-minded dedication to excellence. Together, Lauren and Emma combine their skills to ensure every bride's experience is flawless and unforgettable.

Looking ahead, Lauren and Emma are excited to continue growing Spence & Oliver, expanding the freelance team, and delivering top-tier bridal beauty services.

Lauren Spence

Dior-trained makeup artist and enthusiast Lauren first discovered her love of colour as a teenager, when she spent weekends trawling London makeup boutiques in search of inspiration and giving her friends makeovers for nights out. Since then, she’s worked on advertising campaigns for New Look, Jigsaw and Barclays, travelled the world as a global brand ambassador and demoed luxury brands live on QVC.

But while nowadays she’s more likely to take inspiration from couture catwalk shows and designer shoots, Lauren’s love of bridal styling stems from the same desire to make every client feel incredible, whether that’s with the perfect smoky eye or a stunning, dewy complexion.

Since styling her first wedding client at the age of 19, Lauren has loved every moment of the creative process, from the excitement of the trial to the happy tears on the day itself.
